KD Young Cocky is a rising talent from the south side of Chicago. His sound is not of the average Chicago musician, which comes as no surprise seeing that he has spent a stint in the ATL. In Atlanta is where he gained a lot of his melodies and mixed it with the swagger of a Chicagoan.
Many might know of KD, but he has been in the music industry for a while now taking the background writer role to a lot of successful musicians; Dreezy, GHerbo, lil Durk and Common. He explained his journey as long awaited and that the industry will hear what he has to safe.
KD is a very humble artist, and he keeps it funky. After this interview and listening to his songs I knew that this kid has a lot of potential. His sound makes you want to go party and dress fly, grab a girl and leave the guns at home.
