Tory Lanez Funk Flex Freestyle Divides Social Media

Tory Lanez was trending on Twitter today after a video of him recently freestyling for Funkmaster Flex started circulating. The freestyle draws a lot of attention to the shooting altercation back in July of 2020 between Lanez and fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion, with lines like “Shoutout to Dababy, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby. What I’m about to say is going to sound a little crazy, but it’s true so don’t play me. Y’all all would’ve got y’all awards if they didn’t frame me!,” suggesting that Megan’s award wins and accolades afterwards were purely a PR move as result of the incident in which he said he was framed.

The responses on social media afterwards were mixed, with many saying that nobody can cancel Tory Lanez and that his bars on that freestyle and many of his past works are very much legit.
