Will it Ever Come? Kanye’s Second ‘Donda’ Premiere and Still No Album Dropped

Kanye West once again took to a sold-out Mercedes Benz Stadium last night just past 10:30 PM ET to present the latest adaptation of his upcoming 10th studio album ‘Donda,’ named after his late mother. The album was expected to drop on streaming services following the live-streamed event, but has still yet to come.

On July 22nd, Kanye premiered what was assumed to be the newly completed album at the Atlanta stadium, accompanied with features from artists such as Lil Baby, Pusha T, Jay Z, and more. However, the Chicago-born artist had delayed the official release, a common move for Kanye, in order to make final changes and additional alterations before dropping. It was reported that Ye would then camp out and remain in the stadium until he felt he had completely finished the project, which he live-streamed at multiple points as well.

Two weeks later, it had seemed like we were finally getting the finished album, as Ye set up another listening event where his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and his children appeared to be in attendance. While similar to the first event weeks prior, this performance appeared to be much more extravagant. Many fans on social media have been discussing one particular moment from last night’s show, where Kanye ended the night by suspending himself hundreds of feet in the air as “No Child Left Behind,” the single that accompanied the Beats ad with Sha’Carri Richardson, played throughout the stadium.

The premier also concluded with the official announcement for the awaited collaboration between Ye and the Gap becoming available. The iconic red puffer jacket that West has been seen in during his performances became open for pre-order.

As of now, we still don’t have an official date for when Donda will be available on streaming services, but a pre-order page on iTunes has been created in the past 24 hours. Do you think we’ll get the album within the next week, or is Kanye gonna keep pushing? Let us know!
