WIFE OF EL CHAPO IS SENTENCED TO 3 YEARS IN JAIL.

The wife of El Chapo, Emma Coronel Aispuro, was sentenced to 3 years in prison after pleading guilty to helping her husband run his multi-billion dollar trafficking operation.

Aispuro’s charges included knowingly and willfully distributing heroin, cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine for many years. She also pleaded guilty to a money laundering charge and to engaging in transactions with a foreign narcotics trafficker.

To refresh your memory El Chapo founded the Sinaloa Cartel in 1989 which became a global drug trafficking operation. Chapo is serving a life sentence in U.S prison in ADX Florence, which is a penitentiary in Colorado.
