NIPSEY HUSSLE’S FAMILY WILL FULFILL HIS DREAM BY OPENING A SECOND MARATHON STORE!

Nipsey Hussle’s family will keep the marathon running by opening up “The Marathon Clothing Store No. 2” in Los Angeles this year, which is the longtime dream of the rapper.

According to The Guardian, Nipsey’s brother Samuel Asghedom confirmed it by saying “This second location is a dream that Nipsey always had, and it’s important that his kids are able to see his plans fulfilled.” Asghedom also mentioned that the family had purchased commercial property in the Melrose arts district in LA where they plan to open the next location.

Although the original store is closed, it still remains open for those who want to pay tribute. “We want a place where tourists and fans can come to pay homage versus a place that was all about sales,” Asghedom said. The commercial property that the family recently purchased, will be created in the eyes of Nipsey. He revealed to reporters that they will reopen the Steve’s Barber Shop as a place to give free haircuts to youth, and to have some kind of museum to honor Hussle. The family will also incorporate a program similar to the free music program that Nipsey participated in when he was younger.

“Everybody out of that program, including my brother, ended up pursuing a successful music career,” he said. “Just a little effort and a little resources directed toward the youth can really make a big impact … So a youth center would be the best thing we could put there, in the vein of what Hussle stood for: something to inspire the youth and teach them skills that they can use to be productive and legitimate when they become adults.”

There is no launch date for this yet, but the project is said to be completed by the end of the year.
