KANYE WEST SUED FOR OVER $400,000 BY FASHION RENTAL COMPANY

Kanye West is being sued by famous fashion rental service “David Casavant Archive” according to a new lawsuit. According to the suit, back in 2020 Kanye stopped paying rental fees for 13 rare items with the service now claiming that the Grammy award-winning artist owes them years worth of fees for items he has yet to return. David Casavant Archive filed the suit claiming Kanye owes the stylist over $400,000 with $221,000 accumulated in fees on top of unreturned garments.

The service has had a working relationship with many celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Tom Brady, Pharrell, 21 Savage and Solange. Their partnership with Kanye specifically has been since 2014 but according to them this is the first time they’ve ever run into issues with the rapper. Kanye apparently rented 49 items in February/March of 2020 but has only returned 36 and has stopped paying weekly fees on the rest. Some of the designer items include hoodies, capes, cargo pants, along with a $50,000 parka spanning from brands such as Helmut Lang to Raf Simmons.

At this time Kanye nor anyone from his team have commented on the matter.
