Coffee, Hip hop and Mental health is a donation based cafe centered around the importance of normalizing mental health, emotional intelligence, and self awareness, by offering therapeutic services in the community. A home away from home, the founder Christopher LeMark goal is to build a safe space for people to gather and promote healthy mental healing. Using his personal mental experiences to gear a new look and approach to therapy and mental health in Chicago.
Opened 6 days a week, The cafe hosts yoga, free group and individual therapy sessions on the weekend, closed on Monday to feed the homeless and just newly introduced a meditation and journaling session every Tuesday. Coffee, Hip-hop and Mental health is more than a coffee shop, it’s a family feeding the community with love.
