BHM SERIES – The Present & Future Black History of Chicago: People To Know, Places To Go, and Things To See

Art in Motion (AIM) is a creative arts school that opened its doors in the fall of 2019 with about 200 students. What makes this school unique is that it empowers the students to express themselves without judgment, while also putting them first and treating them as human beings. That may seem small to some, but in reality it means alot as they are building strong relationships based on trust and respect. Students can view this as a safe space for them to learn and grow into whomever they choose to be. 

Their mission is to diversify the community and welcome joy through creative forms of expression. We all deserve to follow our dreams, and once you know it is possible to achieve that next milestone then there’s no limit to what you think you can do.
