It wasn’t two counts of assault – it was two not guiltys and two guiltys, the convictions being for misdemeanor assault and a harassment violation (less than a misdemeanor).
Convicts on one count of assault in third degree and one count of harassment in the 2nd degree; clears him on one count of aggravated harassment and a separate assault charge under a different intent statute.
