What’s your name?: Jae Ivlie (Pronounced Jay iv-lee)
Where are you from?: The Southside of Chicago, I’m from the hunnits.

Who did you grow up listening to?: Kanye West & Rihanna, they are two of my biggest idols.
How did you get your Buzz?: Started in my mama basement for real, I’ve just been going from there. In the studio, online on social media posting my stuff.

Has your style ever been compared to anyone’s?: No, I feel like I’m my own person, like I got my own vibe. I’m still trying to find my sound and stuff but I feel like I’m my own artist.
Why do you feel like you’re going to blow up?: Because I’m me and I’m not trying to be nobody else. Like, I’m in my own lane.

What are some of your favorite records to date?: Kanye West “Can’t tell me nothing” that’s number one! Lol
Some people don’t know what about you?: That I’m an introvert at heart. I like people and I like being outside, but after everything is said and done I want to be left alone. Lol

What do you want your fans to take away from your music?: That they can be themselves, think for themselves and don’t try to be like nobody else. Stick to your own rules.

What are your goals for your music career?: I want to reach a bigger audience. Not just in Chicago but worldwide. I feel like I have the potential to do it, so why not?
What was your creative process behind one of your favorite songs?: I’ll take “Everything Bussin” for example. That’s a juke song, I heard all the juke songs going around Chicago, I felt like I said ok ima make it my own. I feel like everybody else is remaking everybody else’s songs from back in the day, I said I can make my own.

What makes you different from any of the other artists out here?: Like I said, I have my own vibe. I’m not rapping like nobody else. None of the other female rappers or whatever. It’s no slander or nothing to them but if you listen to my music I feel like you’ll see that I’m my own person.
What’s your end goal?: I just want people to listen to my music and appreciate it. In the end. I want it to be like I got through to people.
