CALIFORNIA WOMAN CAUGHT WITH $2,500 WORTH OF STOLEN STANLEY CUPS

Roseville police responded to the shop on the 6000 block of Stanford Ranch Road after employees said they saw the young woman take a cart full of the precious water bottles.

The unnamed suspect ignored the employees as they asked her to stop as she went on to stuff the load of tumblers into her red car before cops located and arrested her for grand theft, cops said.

“While Stanley Quenchers are all the rage, we strongly advise against turning to crime to fulfill your hydration habits,” police quipped.

Recently, videos circulated that showed customers camping out in line and practically fighting over Stanley’s limited edition Valentine’s Day tumblers in Target. Soon after, the cups popped up on resale sites ranging from $200 to $300. The cups’ retail price is $40–$57.
