Next Showcase USA will host its April Artist Showcase to help highlight local entertainers in Chicago. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 pm CST at the House of Blues Foundation Room, 329 N. Dearborn, Chicago, IL.
The mission of the showcase is to give young creatives an outlet to perform their talents with a chance to win high cash valued prizes. “Today’s young people need to be inspired and have the belief that there are spaces for them to be successful,” said Mark Hubbard, CEO of Next Showcase and Past President of the Recording Academy Chicago Chapter (GRAMMYS).
Next Showcase is known for its various showcases featuring past performers including three time Grammy Award winning artist J Ivy from Chicago and partnerships with the City of Chicago, Chi Gives Back and Paint the City. “Creativity can help save our youth,” said Hubbard. “If we continue to give our young people ways to express positive energy, they’ll then give that positive energy to our communities.”
