This YSL RICO Trial continues to be one of the most interesting cases that’s going on right now. Everyday something happens that you wouldn’t expect.
Today in court, Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steele, was arrested and held in contempt of court after he accused the judge of witness intimidation and refused to give up his source.
According to WSB-TV, Steele reportedly said in court that Judge Ural Glanville, prosecutors, and a key witness in the trial met in “secret” without any of the defense attorney’s knowledge or the witness’s own attorney. Steele says this action by the judge should result in a mistrial. Judge Glanville then asked Steele to reveal his source, to which Steele refused.
After refusing to tell Glanville how he learned of this secret meeting, and stopping just short of accusing him of witness coersion, Steel was removed from the courtroom. His second attorney, Keith Adams, asked for a mistrial, noting that Thug does not want to continue the trial without Steel. Judge Glanville denied the motion.
