Curated by Jim Jones and Esso, Bodega Wednesdays presented by the Influencers Club offers a unique opportunity for creatives in New York City to come together. This exclusive club focuses on fostering camaraderie, expanding networks, and producing engaging content amongst creatives in the city.
Taking place monthly at La Bodega in the Bronx, Bodega Wednesdays has quickly established itself as the premier event for influencers. IFC has meticulously crafted a space where local creatives can connect with fellow content creators, influencers, and tastemakers whose influence resonates deeply within the culture.
The event showcases a variety of magical elements. Last month, IFC hosted special guests such as Wallo from Million Dollarz Worth of Game and Drillfairy, who conducted an interview with Pain Party during the speed pod segment of the evening. Bars on I95 heated things up with Jim Jones making an appearance for an interview and freestyle.
The unique appeal of IFC’s Bodega Wednesdays stems from the unpredictability of the attendees, offering a chance to connect with podcast veterans such as Queenz Flip and Ish from the Joe Budden Podcast, as well as Hot 97’s DJ Drewski, The Shiggy Show and Major Galore among others. Although the guest lineup varies each month, Bodega Wednesdays grants creatives access to valuable industry insights not easily found elsewhere. And while you never know who will attend Bodega Wednesdays, everyone who walks through that door, famous or not is a star! A moment for all creatives to showcase their talents and shine as bright as they want.
Creating a vibey experience for creatives, IFC has also partnered with various local businesses throughout the city to provide food and drinks. Last month, Kizzy’s Kitchen provided an amazing food selection while Jade a luxury Sparkling Wine brand served a variety of their sparkling wine.
While The Influencers Club is open for all creatives to RSVP, the list remains exclusive. Approval is necessary before stepping into La Bodega, so you have to follow the influencers’ etiquette to attend. This approach limits those who aren’t true creatives from entering the space. The goal is to prioritize individuals who are dedicated to creating content, rather than simply attending to be in the same space as celebrities.
