Pretty K and MarlyBoy teamed up to organize Chi Palooza, an event showcasing Chicago’s talents. It took place on August 14th at the Wild Hare in Chicago, featuring music by Power 92’s DjWillTheThrill and hosted by Pretty K, Tavimo, & Golar.

The night was filled with supporters from across the city who gathered to watch these artists display their talent. Although Chicago often gets a bad rap for not supporting its local artists, Pretty K and MarlyBoy took things to another level by bringing forth a plethora of talent from across the city for one magical night.

“I would like to get to a point where incentives are in place for artists from sponsors. We live in a city where some people have a bad taste in their mouths about artists and don’t like helping them. I want to change that,” said Pretty K.

Crowd participation was essential during this showcase. Pretty K, Tavimo, & Golar created a unique experience by engaging the audience in Chicago trivia and finish the lyrics activities, effectively keeping the crowd engaged.
