DABABY SPEAKS ON LAUNCHING MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE IN HONOR OF HIS LATE BROTHER

DaBaby unveiled during Suicide Prevention Month that he has launched a mental health platform in memory of his late brother, Glenn Johnson, who died by suicide in 2020. Dababy’s initiative, DaBabyCares, aims to raise awareness, dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health, and provide essential resources for both youth and adults facing mental health challenges.

He also announced that he partners with Mental Health America of Central Carolinas for a free downloadable resource toolkit titled “Youth Mental Health 101 Resource Guide.”

During an interview on Sway’s Universe, DaBaby discussed how his journey through mental health, therapy, and personal accountability has shaped his music and life choices.

The rapper took the time to open up about the launch of “DaBaby Cares” and spoke on how he’s about to start therapy for the first time.
