JOEL Q OPENS UP FOR RAPSODY AT THE PROMONTORY IN CHICAGO

Chicago’s lyrical son of the hunnits, Joel Q, took the stage on Wednesday at The Promontory for one hell of a night. Opening up for Rapsody, Joel Q set the stage ablaze. Performing songs such as “perfect season”, “Hecky Naw” and “Back Again”.

The night was filled with unforgettable moments, notably when the rapper performed the unreleased “Champion 5” acapella. This track will be part of the surprise project “The Good Continue II,” set to release on Monday at midnight. Joel Q is on an unparalleled run, representing both the city and hip-hop; he is elevating his craft across the city.

“It’s time they finally let a real rapper from the hunnits represent the city,” the rapper emphasized.

During the show, he caught the attention of Rapsody, who invited him on stage to honor him and the other artists who opened for her. She emphasized her commitment to creating opportunities for those emcees who will follow in her footsteps, ensuring that the authenticity of the genre is maintained.
