A Milwaukee man accused of biting the fingertip off a person at a wedding in 2023 pleaded no contest this week to charges of disorderly conduct and battery, according to reports. It was said that he got defensive with guests who had asked him to leave following chaos. However, the wedding crasher ended up biting off the fellow’s fingertip, leading to serious injuries.
FOX 6 News reported that Nathan Landsee of Milwaukee pleaded no contest to the charges on Monday, before the court found him guilty on both counts.
Landsee attended a wedding with a group of people and soon became the center of attention after it spread that he allegedly touched another wedding guest inappropriately and without consent. Court documents affirmed that Landsee began to act erratically. The wedding couple even proceeded to calm Landsee and the situation down. While it might have worked, it didn’t work for long.
Eyewitnesses say that Landsee soon went off again. With his continuous behavior, other guests requested that he leave the event. Yet, he continued and that was when one of the guests threatened to call the police on him.
Landsee aimed at the concerned guest and tried to hit him. About three others joined to save the victim. When they pinned him to the ground, he bit off the tip of one of their fingers. Soon, they realized that he had injured the bitten victim a great deal. The bleeding finger had lost a half inch of flesh, leading to 19 surgeries.
Nathan Landsee did not resist arrest, also admitting that he was highly intoxicated and unaware of the event. A year later, he was charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
On December 13th the court would finally make a decision.
