FAT JOE RECALLS HIS 2017 GRAMMY LOSS AGAINST CHANCE THE RAPPER

Fat Joe reflects on Chance’s Grammy win for Best Rap Performance with the song “No Problem,” which was nominated alongside Joe’s collaboration with Remy Ma, “All the Way Up.”

During a listening session for his upcoming album, The World Changed On Me, Joe made comments about what happened and how it made him feel.

“That’s the biggest disrespect,” Fat Joe says in the clip. “You know how Jay-Z used to say, ‘Gotta learn to live with regrets.’ I can’t live with that one.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Fat Joe spoke on the 2017 Grammy loss. In 2022, during an interview with Elliott Wilson for GQ, Joe stated, “‘All the Way Up’ was a bigger song. If people truly understood the culture, Remy and I were akin to Robin Hood and Cinderella.” He went on to say, “They awarded it to Chance the Rapper, but for what reason? I don’t want to be disrespectful, but I don’t even remember the record he beat us with. That’s my point. I don’t even know what song it was. Do you understand?”
