CHICAGO NATIVE AND UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN FOOTBALL PLAYER USES HIS NIL TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

I’Marion Stewart, a 19-year-old athlete from Kenwood Academy, is currently playing football at the University of Michigan. He has been using his NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) money to support his charitable organization, The I’Marion Stewart Foundation, which is dedicated to helping those in need.

The I’Marion Stewart Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth, teens, and young adults with limited resources by creating opportunities through philanthropy. With a strong focus on community support, the foundation organizes impactful initiatives such as the annual Thanksgiving Giveback, fostering meaningful connections and positive change.

This past Thanksgiving, Stewart held his first Thanksgiving giveaway, sponsoring a total of 10 families—five from Kenwood and five from Bolingbrook High School. Each family received a turkey and a $200 gift card to help them during the holiday season. Stewart emphasized to the recipients that this was not a handout, but a blessing, as he believes God has blessed him and his family.

For Christmas, Stewart has planned another giveaway called the “Winter Giveback” where they will provide winter gear, toys, and more to those in need.
