A car crash caused a vehicle to crash into a Harold’s Chicken fast food restaurant in Chicago’s Brainerd neighborhood around 3 PM on Monday.

In the video released by the Chicago police, a car can be seen driving west on 92nd Street. The driver failed to come to a complete stop and collided with another car traveling north on Ashland. The impact caused the second car to crash into Harold’s Chicken, resulting in significant structural damage to the front of the building.
A 19-year-old woman who was driving a westbound car was not injured and was taken into custody, according to police. The 58-year-old driver of the second car sustained minor injuries and was transported to Little Company of Mary Hospital in fair condition. His passenger, a 62-year-old woman, was unharmed and declined medical attention at the scene.

A 33-year-old customer, who remains unnamed, was present during the crash and sustained injuries but is expected to recover.
Video footage shows the driver, who police said caused the crash, stopping for a few seconds before speeding away. Police later located and arrested her, and citations are pending, according to ABC 7.

Despite the damage to the front, the restaurant is still open and taking orders.
