CLONE ROBOTICS UNVEILS THE FIRST FULL BODIED SYNTHETIC HUMAN-ROBOT

A faceless, anatomically accurate synthetic human named Protoclone has been created by Clone Robotics. The first full glimpse of it has now been unveiled on social media, and reactions have been mixed.

It’s no secret that a robot has been made, there are several companies who have already started the process of creating the perfect one such as Elon Musk with Tesla.

Clone Robotics says their robot, Protoclone, is the first-ever “musculoskeletal android” that is built like a 6-foot-faceless, anatomically correct human. The android is made up of synthetic muscles, bones, joints, and tendons that allow it to walk on its own. It also has 200 degrees of freedom, meaning it can make 200 independent movements.

Clone Robotics have reportedly been working on this robot for almost 10 years. On their website, you can reserve one of the first 279 Clones ever made to be available at some time this year, with these being called Clone Alpha. It has a list of pre-installed skills— the Clone can pour drinks for you, set the dining table, follow you around, retrieve items for you, and much more.

“The Clone will have all human bones of a natural shape, all muscles that grow directly from the bones, and thus together with the tendon form one inseparable element,” the co-founder and CTO Lucas Kozlik explained about His creation.

The robotics company, operating out of Poland and the US, describes Protoclone V1 as “faceless” but otherwise “anatomically correct”.
