With his first shot, he made history by sinking a 3-pointer from the left wing, thanks to a pass from Luka Doncic, propelling the Lakers ahead 13-6 with 8:34 left in the opening quarter.
During a break in the game, Lakers public address announcer Lawrence Tanter shared the excitement with the crowd, saying, “Hey everyone, we just witnessed something truly special together!”
