Wisconsin 4-year-old Dez’Riel Lowery called 911 and told police to arrest his mom for eating his ice cream. After a visit to Dez’Riel’s house to teach him that 911 is only for emergencies, officers returned the next day with ice cream.
Last Tuesday in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin police were contacted by a 4-year-old boy who said his “mom being bad,” according to a statement released by the Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department last week.
When officers arrived at their home, the young boy said, “his mom ate his ice cream and needed to go to jail for it.”
He also told police that “he no longer wanted her to go to jail and just wanted some ice cream.”
After teaching the young boy to only call 911 in real emergencies, they still came back the next day to surprise him with ice cream.
