In a tragic and perplexing incident, 19-year-old twin brothers Naazir and Qaadir Lewis were found dead on Bell Mountain in Georgia, just 24 hours after missing their flight to Boston. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is currently treating the case as a murder and self-inflicted harm, but the family disputes this theory, insisting that the explanation doesn’t add up.
The brothers had planned to visit friends in Boston and were scheduled to depart on a 7 a.m. flight on Friday, March 14. However, they never boarded the plane, and their tickets were later found in their wallets on the mountain. The family is baffled as to how they ended up in an area they had never visited before.
A hiker discovered their bodies on the morning of Saturday, March 15. The GBI has completed autopsies but is awaiting further forensic test results and additional investigative work before determining the official cause of death.
Family members describe the twins as inseparable and deeply bonded, expressing disbelief that they would harm each other. Their uncle, Rahim Brawner, stated, “They were incredibly protective of one another and shared a deep bond. They were inseparable, and I can’t fathom them causing harm to each other.”
The family is urging authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
