DERRICK ROSE SET TO THROW FIRST PITCH DURING WHITE SOX OPENING DAY

Derrick Rose is back out South!

The Chicago legend will be throwing out the first pitch on MLB’s Opening Day on the South Side this year.

The Chicago White Sox announced Derrick Rose will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before they host the Los Angeles Angels at Rate Field on March 27. They revealed as much Thursday with a video that showed the former Chicago Bulls point guard standing on a bullpen mound covered in rose petals.

This is an exciting moment for Chicago as they look forward to seeing him on the field. However, it also raises the question: will his first pitch be the best among the Chicago natives who came before him, such as G Herbo, Bree Specific, and Lil Durk?
