CHICAGO WOMAN CHARGED IN CTA RED LINE MURDER

A woman is charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old woman Tuesday night on a CTA Red Line platform in Grand Crossing.

Chicago police confirmed Tiara Lee-Roberts, 28, was charged with two felony counts of murder, including first-degree murder. She is expected in court for a hearing on Friday.

Around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday Chicago police said the victim was arguing with McMillen who took out a gun at the 69th Street Red Line platform. 

McMillen was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.

Lee-Roberts was arrested two hours after the shooting in the 1400 block of West 63rd Street. She was charged with first-degree murder and murder – strong possibility of death/injuries.
