Josh Giddey delivered an outstanding performance, similar to the ‘Great Barrier Thief’ Dyson Daniels, with an impressive eight steals during the Chicago Bulls’ 146-115 win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
Giddey was on an outstanding streak until an ankle injury interrupted his progress. However, earlier this week, he made a strong comeback off the bench against the Suns. If there was any uncertainty about his recovery from the ankle injury, he put those doubts to rest with his impressive season performance against Los Angeles.
Giddey recorded 15 points, 17 assists, 10 rebounds, eight steals, and — possibly the most remarkable — only two turnovers. The eight steals were double his previous career high, while the 17 assists matched his NBA record.
