Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, whether it’s a home cooked meal or something that you pick up from a restaurant. Many people wish that their favorite restaurants, like Portillo’s, were to sell breakfast versus waiting on lunch to get some food.
Portillo’s has just announced that starting today, 5 of the Portillo’s locations in the Chicago area are set to offer a new breakfast menu under a pilot program that will bring breakfast sandwiches, chocolate cake donuts and more.
According to ABC News, Portillo’s has traditional breakfast items on their menu, but also signature items with a Chicago twist, including polish sausage egg and cheese sandwiches, chocolate cake coffee, and chocolate cake donuts. Breakfast will be served 6:30p to 10:30 in the morning.
Which locations are testing the breakfast menu?
· Chicago, Canal and Taylor – 520 W Taylor St, Chicago, IL
· Elmhurst – 155 S Route 83, Elmhurst, IL
· Tinley Park – 15900 S Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, IL
· Shorewood – 1155 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL
· Niles – 8832 W Dempster St, Niles, IL
If Portillo’s breakfast takes off like the company expects it to, it’ll expand the program to other locations.
