JADEN SMITH TURNS HIS VEGAN FOOD TRUCK INTO A RESTAURANT FOR WHERE HOMELESS PEOPLE EAT FOR FREE

“It’s for homeless people to get free food.”

Jaden Smith is making a remarkable contribution to the homeless community through his thoughtful initiative. He has officially developed his innovative food justice project, “I Love You,” into a full-service restaurant that focuses on providing free, nutritious meals for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Initially launched in 2019 as a vegan food truck on Skid Row in Los Angeles, this initiative has transformed into a physical location with a strong mission: to feed those in need, build a sense of community, and promote sustainable, plant-based living.

The restaurant, also called “I Love You,” offers wholesome, healthy meals to everyone who comes in, with no expectation of payment. This unique and straightforward approach is based on a wonderful principle: if patrons can afford to pay, they do so at a rate higher than the listed price. This additional revenue is directly allocated to fund meals for those who cannot afford to pay for them. It’s an inspiring, self-sustaining model rooted in compassion, equity, and community empowerment.
