A shooting outside Frank’s Lounge in North Chicago early Monday morning has left one man critically injured and another wounded, according to local police.
Officers responded to the scene around 12:50 a.m. at 2234 Green Bay Road, where they found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition. A second man was also shot, though his injuries are believed to be less severe.
Investigators say the suspect may have also been wounded and fled in a black SUV before police arrived. As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made, and the suspect remains at large.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help as they review surveillance video and speak with witnesses.
“We’re working around the clock to gather evidence and identify those involved,” said a police spokesperson.
