A shocking incident in San Francisco, California has raised serious concerns about electric vehicle safety after a Ford Mustang Mach-E appeared to malfunction on a busy freeway — locking the steering and flooring the accelerator.
In a now-viral video, the driver is seen raising their hands in apparent prayer just before the EV slams into another car. Witnesses say the vehicle lost all control, scraping along the barrier before impact. Miraculously, no serious injuries were reported.
This crash adds to the growing scrutiny around Ford’s driver-assist technology, including BlueCruise, which is already under federal investigation following multiple high-speed crashes.
