Chicago rapper 4Block Lil Mari was recently shot during a carjacking attempt over the weekend.
According to reports, the 19-year-old artist was involved in an attempted carjacking on Sunday, September 7, 2025, when he and alleged accomplices targeted a woman and a teenager. What Lil Mari didn’t know is that the woman was a licensed concealed carry holder.
The carjacking quickly escalated into a shootout. The woman was struck twice in the leg but managed to return fire, hitting the suspects multiple times. Lil Mari was reportedly shot several times in the chest, arm, leg, and groin.
As of now, Lil Mari’s exact condition and whereabouts remain unclear. Authorities are continuing their investigation, and charges are expected once more details emerge.
