Now this is major for the city! ABC and Dick Clark Productions just announced that Chicago will get its very own edition of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve this year. The celebration goes down December 31, with none other than Ryan Seacrest still hosting the national broadcast.
That means when the ball drops, Chicago will be right there in the spotlight — music, lights, and all that Midwest energy shining live for the world to see. No more just watching Times Square from the couch; this time, the Chi gets to show out and ring in the new year our way.
