A citywide call to action is underway as men across Chicago are invited to attend a Men’s Only Meeting on Monday, November 17, at Mosque Maryam (7351 S. Stony Island Ave). The free event aims to bring men together—across faiths, backgrounds, and affiliations—to focus on solutions that will help make Chicago communities “a safe and decent place to live.”
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. Attendees will participate in discussions centered around community protection, unity, responsibility, and real-world strategies for improving conditions in neighborhoods across the city.
According to the event announcement, the gathering will include members of the FOI (Fruit of Islam) along with men from all walks of life committed to organizing and taking collective action. The graphic also confirms that The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will be present.
The meeting is open to the public, and participants are encouraged to RSVP using the event’s QR code.
This gathering marks a significant moment of male leadership and collaboration as Chicago continues working toward stronger, safer communities.
