A 19-year-old woman has been arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the fatal shooting of her alleged 18-year-old girlfriend, Kassidy Jackson. Authorities say the dispute began after Jackson allegedly blocked the suspect, Paulasia Banks, on TikTok.
Banks, also wanted to know why she hadn’t heard from Jackson between noon and 1:30 p.m.
According to WBRZ, Banks went to Jackson’s home with two men, forced their way inside, and a confrontation broke out. During the altercation, Jackson was shot and later died at a hospital. Banks reportedly fled the scene with the others and did not attempt to render aid.
Banks later turned herself in to law enforcement officers accompanied by her attorney. She has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated burglary. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the roles of the two men involved.
