YE ISSUES PUBLIC APOLOGY FOR ANTISEMITIC COMMENTS

Ye has issued a public apology through a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal, addressing years of controversy surrounding antisemitic remarks and erratic behavior. Titled “To Those I’ve Hurt,” the statement acknowledges the harm caused and says Ye “lost touch with reality” during periods of untreated mental health struggles.

In the apology, Ye states that he is not antisemitic and expresses love for the Jewish community. He also extends an apology to the Black community, admitting that his actions were reckless and that he let people down. While taking responsibility, he references bipolar disorder and personal challenges as contributing factors.
