WHERE CLASSICAL MEETS CULTURE
Marketed as a “first time ever” Chicago experience, the performance is built to merge soulful vocals with orchestral arrangements—pulling from the energy of Hip-Hop, R&B, gospel, country, and pop while keeping classical virtuosity front and center.
“More than an orchestra, The Renaissance Orchestra is a movement—redefining what the concert hall can sound like, look like, and mean.”
MEET THE RENAISSANCE ORCHESTRA
Founded in 2024 in Atlanta, The Renaissance Orchestra has emerged as a cultural force—reimagining orchestral music by blending classical excellence with modern storytelling. The orchestra is led by:
- Founder & Director: Tyrone “OG” Bowie
- Music Director: Abiye Fubara
- Conductor: Dionne Davis
With the legendary William Bilal helping lead the movement, the orchestra’s mission stays clear: make orchestral music immersive, bold, and culturally relevant. They’ve collaborated with names like Lil Boosie, Zaytoven, Sonny Digital, Fred Hammond and R&B ONLY—bringing today’s voice, rhythm, and impact into classical instrumentation.
CHICAGO GETS ONE NIGHT
This show is part of their 2026 tour (including a stop in Atlanta), but Chicago’s date at Ramova Theatre is being promoted as a one-night-only moment. If you’ve been looking for something that feels like culture in real time—this is it.
