The debate over the greatest basketball player of all time continues to dominate sports conversations, but Michael Jordan says he doesn’t believe the argument can truly be settled.
During a recent appearance on NBA on NBC, Jordan addressed the long-running GOAT discussion that often compares him with stars like LeBron James.
Jordan explained that comparing players from different eras isn’t fair because they never competed against each other.
“The GOAT conversation… it doesn’t exist for me,” Jordan said, adding that each generation of players builds on the one before it.
The six-time champion emphasized that the focus should be on respecting every era of basketball rather than trying to rank legends against one another. Still, the GOAT debate among fans shows no signs of slowing down.
