In a recent sit-down interview with PinPoint Podcast, Jaden Ivey discussed his mental health, faith, the NBA, and more. Ivey opened up about his struggles with suicide and how he almost took his own life, “I’ve almost committed suicide multiple times and I’m not ashamed to say it”.
He went on to talk about how his wife talked him out of overdosing on pills, “I had oxy pills in my hand, my wife was telling me don’t do it, don’t go down this road”. After he finished reflecting on his suicide attempt, Ivey spoke about his faith and beliefs, the anti-gay comments, and his willingness to play with the Chicago Bulls even though the Bulls weren’t winning.
