In 2011, Blasian Doll experienced an unimaginable loss when her mother, Princess “Cess,” was shot and killed. Just two months later, her mother’s boyfriend, Neef, was also tragically taken from her. Amid the pain, rumors circulated in Chicago regarding Tay Savage’s involvement in these deaths. He was arrested in 2013 and faced serious charges related to both incidents. After spending a decade in prison, he was finally acquitted of all charges in 2023.

Blasian Doll and Tay Savage bravely shared their healing journeys through interviews with platforms like DJU, No Jumper, and Vlad TV, where they denied any involvement by Savage. Before their interview, Chicago Wave joined them in prayer, emphasizing the importance of their connection for the youth to see. He acknowledges the significant impact they can have on the next generation through the music artists he highlights.
