INDIANA TEACHER CHARGED WITH GROUP SEX ALLEGATIONS INVOLVING TEENS IN ‘SCREAM’ MASKS

A married Indiana teacher accused of sexually assaulting young boys would allegedly make her barely-teenaged victims wear “Scream” masks while she forced them to have group sex, new court docs reveal.

Former math teacher Brittany Fortinberry, 31, has been faced with multiple new sexual abuse charges this week after five additional alleged victims came forward. She met these victims, some as young as 13, while working at two different schools in Morgan County in 2024.

According to Fox 59, some of Fortinberry’s alleged actions included purchasing expensive gifts for the teen, according to court documents. After observing this behavior change, the mother decided to prevent her child from interacting with Fortinberry any longer. However, she later learned that Fortinberry had reportedly added the minor on Snapchat and the two had continued communicating on that app.

All of the teens said Fortinberry would send them nude and explicit photos and videos on Snapchat and another app called Session.

While most of the victims’ parents were unaware of the abuse before a Department of Child Services investigation, one parent told police that Fortinberry’s husband knew what was happening and “threatened to slaughter (the teen) in front of her if he came forward,” according to court docs.

Prosecutors on Tuesday filed a motion to add 10 counts of child molestation, eight counts of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of sexual misconduct with a minor, according to WTHR.

Fortinberry told the police that she regretted losing 150 pounds, stating that she wouldn’t have made this choice if she had remained heavier.

She faces a charges of child molestation, sexual misconduct, and more—and her bond’s been set to $150,000.
