West Side Chicago artist Mani Jurdan is setting the tone with “DEAD RACIST$,” the lead single off his debut album ANCE$TOR MONEY. Produced by Jxnoir and visually captured by Law Mahone, the record is raw, confrontational, and intentionally unapologetic. Blending pro-Black militance with drill energy, Mani transforms rage into resistance—delivering sharp, fearless bars that reject white supremacy, confront systemic violence, and affirm the power, survival, and self-worth of Black people.
DEAD RACIST$ stands as protest music for the present moment—unfiltered, uncompromising, and rooted in truth. Mani’s perspective is deeply personal. With first-generation Jamaican roots on his father’s side, he draws from his family’s migration to the U.S. in the 1990s and the ongoing realities faced by Black, Brown, and other melanated people. The song challenges harmful narratives around immigration, historical erasure, and land theft, calling out hypocrisy while standing firm in cultural pride and self-determination.
As the first offering from ANCE$TOR MONEY, DEAD RACIST$ establishes Mani Jurdan as an artist unafraid to speak directly to the times we’re living in—using music not just as expression, but as resistance.
