CHICAGO SOUTH SIDE SHOOTING LEAVES ONE DEAD AND TWO INJURED

One man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting late yesterday near 110th Street and Longwood Drive on Chicago’s South Side, according to CBS News. Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area and found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police said a 28-year-old Vincent Quindon was shot in the lower back and was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The other two were also transported but conditions have not yet been released. Investigators have not shared details about what led up to the shooting or whether the victims were targeted.

No arrests have been announced as detectives continue to search for suspects and review surveillance footage from the area. Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting near 110th and Longwood to come forward as the investigation remains ongoing.
