Sye K, hailing from his hometown, Chicago, is known for his melodic tunes and creative artistry in R&B and some hip hop. Sye K has created a buzz for himself, rightfully so, by being consistent and producing and writing all of his music. Where are you from?: I was born & raised in Chicago, but I did grow up some in the south suburbs for a little while then later on moved back to Chicago.
Who did you grow up listening to?: A little bit of everything. My mom brought me up on old school music but i listened to my usual hip hop and r&b. Some of my favorite artists to listen to were Chris brown, usher, t pain, & beyonce.
How did you get your Buzz?: Cuz I am doing my shit lol naw but for real because of my consistency. I started taking artistry for real in 2016. I was consistent from there, I just consistently kept putting out work, music, and performing as much as possible.
Has your style been compared to anyone lately?: Usher
Why do you feel you’re going to blow up?: I feel like I got it for real. I have the talent, drive, passion and skill. I do not have to rely on a lot of people either. If something is not being done, I’m going to get it done. I have the will for it also.
Some of your stand out records to date have been?: Next to me, & Love on the dance floor
What is something that most people don’t know about you?: That I’m like a one man band. I produce, write, record and mix all of my stuff. I do it all by myself
I’m going to be the next?: Me, I don’t even want to be put in anyone else’s lane so I’ll be the first me.
What is your favorite written track?: That’s a hard one, umm I would probably say “I wanna know” by Joe.
Who are some of your biggest influences?: Usher, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Tank, Brandy & T-Pain
Who do you feel you make music for?: Myself and people who like good music.

What was your first feature?: OBYWAN Music on the song “Dive”.
What are your goals for your music career?: To have it known nationally, but really globally. Then just do a lot of production work.
