SUPER BOWL GOSPEL CONCERT A PRODUCT OF BLACK GIRL MAGIC | LET’S GET 1 MILLION VIEWERS!

T-PAIN, KIRK FRANKLIN, MARY MARY, ROBIN THICKE LIFT THEIR VOICES FOR SUPER BOWL SOULFUL CELEBRATION 25TH ANNIVERSARY

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration was launched in Miami in 1999 during Super Bowl XXXIII weekend. The event became the first, and remains the only Gospel concert sanctioned by the National Football League (NFL). The show has drawn crowds in the thousands and has demonstrated growth year-after-year, selling out venues in major Super Bowl host cities including Dallas, Tampa, Detroit, Jacksonville, Houston and Phoenix.

Cedric the Entertainer and Tichina Arnold, stars of CBS comedy The Neighborhood, will host the one-hour music special, which is produced in partnership with the NFL. This show was created by a black woman Melanie few . Produced by a black woman. PR, Partnerships, social media, marketing all black women owned companies.

“Co-hosting the 25th anniversary Super Bowl Soulful Celebration with Cedric the Entertainer is a true highlight for me. Melanie Few’s achievement in hitting this incredible milestone is a testament to her dedication and the event’s cultural impact,” said Arnold.  “I’m thrilled to be part of this historic event, and Cedric and I are geared up to bring our energy, laughter, and soul to this momentous occasion!”

Grammy-nominated artist Adam Blackstone serves as music director. The special is executive produced by Melanie Few and Valarie Benning Thompson serves as producer.

In addition, three NFL players will be saluted for their achievements on and off the field during the special. The honorees include Dallas Cowboys quarterback Rayne “Dak” Prescott (Faith In Action Award), Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin (New Beginnings Award) and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Markquese Bell (HBCU Player of the Year).

The Show was taped on February 7th. Tune Saturday, February 10 at 8 PM on CBS and stream on Paramount+ (live for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on demand on Pluto TV and cbs.com the day after the special airs).
