Stove God Cooks fans lined up outside The Point located at 1565 N Milwaukee Ave on April 6, 2024. It was a real hip hop scene, as fans eagerly waited for Stove to shut down the stage. Covert Operations and Tucker events teamed up with The Griselda crew and brought fans a show they were missing in the city. There were many openers including Chicago’s own Easy O’Hare, Enos, Ju Jilla & Cyphersick.

Several prominent New York artists, including Oxburg, Jo Monte, and Thrax Dadon, flew in to be part of the show and delivered an energetic performance before Stove took the stage. It’s uncommon to see consistent attendance throughout an event like this, but Stove God’s fan base held it down and packed the venue from beginning to end..

Every culture, regardless of its size, has its own unique style of music. Music has become an essential part of human life. I have attended several instrumental performances, but this was the first show I attended where it was more than just the beats or the “turn up.” It featured genuine lyricists who appreciated Hip Hop for what it was truly meant to be!
