Kevin Bui, who was 16 at the time of the incident and now 20 years old, pleaded guilty last week to lighting the family’s home on fire back in August 2020 after using “Find My iPhone” to track his stolen phone to the area.
It’s reported that Bui was the ringleader of the 3 friends who plotted the revenge that killed the Senegalese family.

Bui is the last of the three friends to enter a plea in the fire that killed Djibril Diol, 29, and Adja Diol, 23, and their 22-month-old daughter, Khadija Diol. Their relative, Hassan Diol, 25, and her 6-month-old daughter Hawa Beye were also killed. Three other people escaped by jumping from the second floor of the home, breaking some bones.
