Get ready for an unforgettable experience happening in July! My Block, My Hood, My City is hosting a citywide event like no other. On July 13th, 2024, we’re bringing together 1,000 youths aged 13-22 to explore the heart of downtown Chicago.
Many of Chicago youth had never experienced downtown despite living just a few miles away. But this July, that’s all about to change!
Each youth will receive a $50 exploration card, giving them the chance to indulge in delicious food, purchase cultural items, and participate in various activities. From exploring movie theaters to enjoying a cultural concert, there’s something for everyone as we bridge the gap between neighborhoods and the vibrant city center.
