A shooting occurred on Thursday night on the Northwest Side, injuring a three-year-old boy who was in a car with his mother, according to Chicago police.
The incident took place around 10:46 p.m. in the 1100-block of North Kostner Avenue.
The boy and his mother were in a car when shots were fired from a pickup truck by a male suspect.
Prior to the shooting, the boy’s father had a dispute with the gunman, as stated by the police.
The boy sustained a graze wound to his left leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
Area Four detectives are investigating, and no arrests have been made yet.
